  Really enjoyed our recent stay, everything was clean, quite spacious for a 1 bedroom and had all the necessities. Great location situated directly across the road from the beautiful Shelly Beach and in very close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. The price is also a lot more achievable many other places on the esplanade. My family's only suggestion was perhaps to have detachable shower heads. Other than that, the renos on the kitchen and bathroom are practical and look great. We will definitely be staying again.

  We stayed here last night and I’m surprised at all of these rave reviews. I am giving 3 stars because of location and clean sheets but it ends there for us unfortunately. They also have a laundry facility which is nice.
  
  The cons: the room wreaked of bleach or ammonia it made me so lightheaded I was trying to find another place to stay as it was so strong and I couldn’t handle it. Unfortunately all the motels or hotels were fully booked in the area. We had to turn the fan off and windows open so the smell wouldn’t continue to circulate. Woke up in the morning with the stuffiest nose because of it
  
  The room could definitely use a touch up. The beds were peeling which didn’t make for a great experience, they look super used and abused. The shower hooks and towel bar were so rusty and old and the shower was tiny!! Thank god my husband and I were both short, idk what tall people do. Also, there was a spider that was building quite a web above the bed and it looked like it was there for quite some time. Obviously that’s nature, but it could’ve been cleaned.
  
  Stay here for one night not more, and don’t expect much. I would highly recommend the management switch out the furniture and go easy on the cleaning products or upgrade ventilation.

  Spent 4 nights here in May. Great location, friendly staff and amazing views from the beach straight across the road. There were a few issues with our room, but once we advised reception, what could be fixed was carried out immediately. As much as the water pressure and shower weren't great, the bed was one of the best I've slept on in a motel ever... Some rooms need some TLC, but overall, for what we needed, it was great. Would definitely stay here again.

  Exceptionally clean and comfortable, everything we needed in their standard room. Bed was new I think and the best sleep I have had in a long time. Great location across from the beach and plenty of places to dine within walking distance. Staff were wonderful, highly recommend this Motel.

  Great motel for people on a budget. The rooms are nice and clean and tidy and heaps of parking. Check in was easy and the staff are friendly. I stayed with my family for two nights, the Motel is directly across the road from the beach and is in a great location. Would stay again and will recommend this motel.
